Procurement Specialist

About the role

ISAAC is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end procurement and logistics processes that support its trucking‑focused platform. The role acts as the bridge between production, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring a smooth flow of materials and information.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule supplies according to production plans, priorities and inventory levels.
• Issue purchase orders, track confirmations, manage deadlines and send reminders.
• Coordinate transportation logistics, handle required documentation and resolve incidents.
• Monitor inventory levels, trigger actions to prevent shortages or excesses, and escalate critical issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, track performance, document deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Identify supply risks, propose mitigation strategies and participate in supplier reviews.
• Support production by communicating priorities, handling urgent requests and informing management of exceptional situations.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with internal policies, maintain accurate data in existing systems and report key indicators.

Required profile

• College diploma (DEC) or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in supply management and vendor management.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven teamwork, autonomy and problem‑solving skills.
