Procurement Manager

About the role

This senior operational leadership role sits at the core of a global procurement function. You will drive efficiency, governance and continuous improvement across end‑to‑end procurement operations while shaping scalable processes that support rapid growth and financial discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing procurement operations team.
• Oversee daily procurement activities including intake, approvals, purchasing workflows and vendor onboarding.
• Define and optimise procurement operating models to improve efficiency, scalability and stakeholder experience.
• Manage procurement systems and tools such as Coupa, Ironclad and Astra, ensuring smooth workflows and adoption.
• Partner closely with Finance and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate PO processes, budget control and financial governance.
• Develop and maintain procurement reporting and analytics, delivering insights on spend, savings, cycle times and performance metrics.
• Drive process improvements to reduce cycle times, eliminate bottlenecks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements and governance frameworks, including SOX where applicable.
• Support vendor management, procurement transformation initiatives and cross‑functional process alignment.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of experience in procurement operations or related functions.
• 1‑3+ years in a leadership or team‑management role with a proven ability to develop and coach talent.
• Strong collaboration experience with Finance, Legal, IT and other cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend data and generate actionable insights.
• Systems‑thinking mindset with interest in automation and process optimisation.

• Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa.
• Experience with contract management tools such as Ironclad.
• Experience with procurement tools such as Astra.
