Processing Technician – Geological Data QA/QC

About the role

GeologicAI is seeking a Processing Technician to support the QA/QC of geological data using our proprietary web‑based software. The role focuses on streamlining the "Depth Correction" workflow performed in the Chrome browser, helping our mining clients make risk‑informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and automate the Depth Correction process within the Chrome browser.
• Perform repetitive QA/QC tasks on geological datasets using the online platform.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain detailed logs of processing activities and report any anomalies.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in geology, mining engineering, data science or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work weekends or irregular hours as needed.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Chrome browser for browser‑based tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with web‑based data processing or QA/QC workflows.
• Basic understanding of geological concepts and terminology.
