About the role

Crestwood STEM School is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Grade 4/5 teacher on a full‑time, one‑year probationary contract for the 2026‑2027 school year. The role focuses on delivering STEM‑centered instruction while fostering an inclusive, collaborative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons using a Conceptual Understanding Approach and Design Thinking.
• Integrate the Science of Reading and the Concrete‑Representational‑Abstract (CRA) method into literacy and numeracy instruction.
• Utilize classroom technology effectively to enhance student learning.
• Build community partnerships and coordinate field‑study opportunities.
• Support extracurricular activities and contribute to school community building.
