Private Home Child Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated child caregiver to provide comprehensive in‑home support for a multi‑aged family in North York. The role involves caring for children of various ages while maintaining a safe, healthy, and organized household environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence, including light housekeeping and laundry.
• Bathe, dress, feed, and supervise infants and children, ensuring their safety and well‑being.
• Discipline children according to parents’ guidelines and support their emotional health.
• Organize games, outings, and educational activities, and assist with homework.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage rest periods for children.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with excellent oral and written communication.
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
• Patient, honest, and able to exercise good judgement.
• Flexible, initiative‑taking, and a team player.

Required skills

• Current CPR Certificate.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
