About the role
We are seeking a dedicated child caregiver to provide full‑time support for a family in North York. The role involves caring for infants and children in the family’s private home while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
- Discipline children according to parents’ methods.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Maintain records of daily activities and health information.
- Organize games, outings and other activities.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Supervise children and transport them to school, appointments and activities.
- Promote emotional well‑being and a safe, healthy home environment.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Organized and reliable.
- Experience is an asset.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check and medical exam.
- Willingness to work in a non‑smoking, scent‑free home.
Required skills
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
