Private Home Child Care Provider (Live-in optional)

About the role

This full‑time position provides comprehensive child care in a private North York home. The caregiver will support a multi‑aged family, ensuring safety, hygiene, and developmental activities for infants and children. Optional live‑in accommodation is available, though not required.

Key responsibilities

• Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and nutritious meals.
• Bathe, dress, feed, and put children to rest.
• Organize games, outings, and social development activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.
• Travel with the family, assisting with supervision and housekeeping on trips.
• Discipline children according to parents' methods and support emotional well‑being.
• Take children to school, appointments, and help with homework.
• Handle up to 23 kg (50 lb) items and perform repetitive tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly reliable, organized, and patient.
• Flexible, initiative‑taking, and able to exercise good judgment.
• Honest and a strong team player.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
