Private Equity Co‑op/Internship (Fall 2026, Winter 2027, Summer 2027)

About the role

BCI is seeking motivated co‑op students or interns to join its Private Equity department for three possible work terms: Fall 2026 (Sept‑Dec), Winter 2027 (Jan‑Apr) or Summer 2027 (May‑Aug). You will support investment professionals in analysing and managing a $20.7 billion global private‑equity portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Screen live investment opportunities and conduct due‑diligence.
• Prepare and review investment memoranda and quarterly portfolio updates.
• Perform financial analysis of new and existing investments.
• Research sectors and market trends to inform investment decisions.
• Assist in improving operational procedures within the Private Equity team.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an undergraduate Finance or Economics program.
• Strong academic record and demonstrated work ethic.
• Interest in private‑equity investing and financial markets.
• Participation in investment clubs, case competitions, or related extracurriculars.
• Preferably some exposure to investment banking, equity research, consulting, corporate development, or accounting.
