Principal Consultant – Smart Factory / MES / IIoT (Bilingual French)

About the role

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead Smart Factory, MES and IIoT initiatives for manufacturing clients in North America. The role is based in Montreal and requires immediate availability, with a focus on delivering high‑impact consulting projects for automotive, aerospace and discrete manufacturing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior manufacturing stakeholders, driving customer delight and business growth.
• Lead end‑to‑end consulting engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on‑scope, on‑time and on‑budget.
• Collaborate with regional sales, global competence teams and account managers to align consulting delivery with commercial objectives.
• Support pre‑sales activities, including proposal development and RFP responses.
• Influence revenue and profitability targets through direct consulting and upsell opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business consulting for Smart Factory, MES or IIoT solutions.
• Strong background in manufacturing verticals such as automotive, aerospace or discrete manufacturing.
• Fluent in French and English (bilingual).
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Immediate availability to work on-site in Montreal.
