About the role

Prep Academy Tutors of York Region is seeking a Primary/Junior OCT Certified Teacher, Reading Specialist, or Special Education Teacher to provide academic support aligned with the Ontario curriculum. The Academic Coach will develop supplemental assignments, deliver remedial and enrichment support, and maintain regular communication with families.

Key responsibilities

Develop supplemental assignments to promote deeper understanding of material.
Offer remedial and enrichment support tailored to individual student needs.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress and improvement strategies.
Provide academic coaching to students.

Required profile

Energetic and enthusiastic educators with teaching experience.
Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Passion for working with students and families.
Excellent communication skills.
Academic coaching experience.
