Press Tech Lead

About the role

The Press Tech Lead will oversee the stamping press line to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production of metal components for automotive and industrial applications. Reporting to the plant manager, this role coordinates daily operations with production, maintenance, and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate stamping press line activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Schedule daily work and align press operations with production targets.
• Monitor automated press systems, identify mechanical, tooling, or feed issues, and initiate corrective actions.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust press equipment using Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
• Troubleshoot press‑related problems to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to implement preventive maintenance and process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising press or metal‑stamping operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet production schedules.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional coordination.
