Post Office Clerk – Retail Postal Services

About the role

The Post Office Clerk provides prompt, friendly service at a Shoppers Drug Mart retail postal outlet. You will manage the checkout area, handle cash, coupons, lottery tickets and PC Optimum transactions while keeping the customer at the centre of every interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, scan items accurately and process all payment methods, including cash, coupons, lottery and PC Optimum cards.
• Maintain a neat, organized checkout area and ensure product displays are properly faced, signed and labelled.
• Follow loss‑prevention standards, control cash, lottery and stamp inventory, and report discrepancies.
• Comply with uniform, health‑and‑safety policies and store housekeeping standards.
• Perform additional duties as required, such as assisting with returns and documentation.
