Post Office Clerk – Part Time

About the role

Join a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store as a Post Office Clerk, providing prompt and superior customer service at the retail postal outlet. You will maintain a neat checkout area while ensuring customers receive friendly, efficient service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, scan or enter product data accurately, and handle cash, coupons, lottery tickets, and PC Optimum transactions.
• Ask for the customer’s PC Optimum card at each transaction and ensure proper documentation for receipts and returns.
• Merchandise designated areas, including facing, signing, and labeling of products.
• Follow loss‑prevention standards and control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.
• Maintain a professional image in accordance with uniform and dress‑code policies, comply with health and safety regulations, and uphold store policies and housekeeping standards.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Strong planning, judgement, and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to balance teamwork with efficient order processing.
• Organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of accurate record‑keeping.
• Experience in a customer‑facing retail environment is preferred.
