About the role

The Post Office Clerk works in a Shoppers Drug Mart retail location, providing prompt and courteous postal and checkout services to community members. This role is essential for maintaining a smooth customer experience and supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver superior customer service at the postal outlet and checkout area.
• Accurately scan, enter product data and process transactions, including cash, coupons, lottery tickets and PC Optimum rewards.
• Maintain a neat, organized checkout space and ensure proper merchandising of designated areas.
• Follow loss‑prevention standards, control cash, lottery and stamp inventory.
• Comply with health, safety, uniform and store policies while presenting a professional image.
• Perform additional duties as required to support store operations.

• Ability to balance teamwork with efficient order processing.
