Plumber – Commercial & Residential

About the role

We are seeking a qualified plumber to join Sun Star Plumbing & Heating Ltd. on commercial and residential projects across Surrey, BC. The role involves interpreting blueprints, installing and testing plumbing systems, and ensuring all work meets specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing, water supply, and drainage systems.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing or welding equipment.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma (3 months to less than 1 year) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in commercial and residential plumbing is an asset.
• Availability for day, evening and weekend shifts.
