Plant Maintenance Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Maintenance Superintendent to lead the upkeep of our rural manufacturing facility. The role ensures safe, efficient operation of industrial equipment and supports continuous production in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect plant areas daily to verify safe working conditions and compliance with safety standards.
• Oversee mechanical and hydraulic systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot process issues and coordinate repairs to minimise downtime.
• Manage heavy‑load handling, equipment moving, and physical tasks such as bending, crouching and kneeling.
• Work with minimal supervision while collaborating with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work under pressure in a physically demanding, fast‑paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and punctuality.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Team‑player attitude with initiative and good judgement.
