Physician – Part‑time Contract (Kingston)

About the role

Kingston Community Health Centres is seeking a part‑time family medicine physician to join its interdisciplinary primary‑care team on a one‑year contract. The role offers predictable hours, dedicated documentation time and the opportunity to teach as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Queen’s University.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary‑care services across the lifespan, including acute and chronic disease management, preventive care and health education.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners, social workers, dietitians and other allied health professionals to coordinate care and address social determinants of health.
• Participate in case consultations, shared‑care arrangements and team meetings to support multidisciplinary decision‑making.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of medical protocols and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario in good standing.
• Current CMPA (or equivalent) malpractice insurance.
• Successful criminal and vulnerable‑person background check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using electronic medical‑record systems (PS Suite preferred).
