Phased Array Antenna Lead Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Phased Array Antenna Lead Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design, development, and integration of advanced phased‑array antenna systems for next‑generation satellite programs. The role involves overseeing system integration, testing, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑performance space and ground‑segment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of phased‑array antenna systems for satellite applications.
• Provide technical leadership for active antenna system design, beamforming, and performance optimization.
• Oversee antenna testing, validation, and radiated performance measurements.
• Define system requirements, specifications, and integration strategies for space and ground‑segment applications.
• Perform system modeling and simulation using MATLAB, Simulink, and other engineering tools.
• Analyze antenna parameters and recommend design improvements to maximize performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support system integration, testing, and project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews, documentation, and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong experience with active antenna system design and phased‑array technologies.
• Proficiency in antenna performance analysis and testing using radiated test facilities.
• Experience with space and/or ground‑segment antenna design, specification, and integration methodologies.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and other engineering simulation tools.
