Pharmacy Assistant

About the role

Join the fast‑growing Affirming Care Pharmacy team in Mississauga as a Pharmacy Assistant. You will support patients by preparing, filling, dispensing and shipping prescription medications while delivering exceptional customer service across multiple communication channels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, fill, dispense and ship prescription medications to patients.
• Provide patient care and support via phone, email, SMS and internal systems.
• Navigate insurance challenges and identify proactive solutions.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets to track patient records and pharmacy operations.
• Assist the Pharmacy Manager with day‑to‑day prescription and operational tasks.

Required profile

• Ability to commute to 2624 Dunwin Drive, Mississauga, ON.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts: Monday‑Friday 9:00 am‑7:00 pm and weekends 9:00 am‑5:00 pm.
• Reporting directly to the Pharmacy Manager.

Required skills

• Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
• Proficiency using phone, email, SMS and internal pharmacy systems.
• Ability to handle insurance inquiries and find solutions.
