Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

Join a locally owned pharmacy to provide health, beauty and convenience services to your community. As a Pharmacist you will manage daily operations, ensure safe dispensing of medication, and deliver professional counselling to customers and health‑care providers.

Key responsibilities

• Acknowledge and assist every customer entering the pharmacy while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
• Dispense prescriptions accurately, provide counselling on prescription and over‑the‑counter products, and practice within the full scope of professional services.
• Communicate with other health‑care professionals to coordinate patient care and maintain required records.
• Control access to the dispensary, review workflow queues, manage ‘will call’ bins and monitor stock for expiries.
• Oversee inventory levels, place medication orders, and ensure compliance with Controlled Drugs and Substances regulations.
• Maintain a professional pharmacy environment, support financial reporting, and file incident reports when needed.

Required profile

• Independent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience planning, coordinating and coaching pharmacy staff.
• Proven business‑driving mindset and commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Strong professionalism, health‑and‑safety awareness and willingness to complete mandatory training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems.
• Solid personal computing skills.
