Personal Line Insurance Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join a family‑owned insurance brokerage in the Markham/GTA area. You will work directly with clients on personal line policies, providing knowledgeable support and ensuring a seamless service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle policy changes, renewals, and client inquiries with confidence.
• Support producers by completing servicing tasks – no cold‑calling required.
• Build lasting client relationships through proactive, advisory‑focused service.
• Collaborate with major carriers using modern brokerage systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance brokerage (no direct writer background).
• RIBO licensed with strong knowledge of auto and home lines.
• Located in Markham or the Greater Toronto Area for reliable hybrid attendance.
• Advisor mindset – focused on client solutions rather than just processing tasks.

Required skills

• PowerBroker (experience preferred, training provided).
