The Durham District School Board is seeking a dedicated permanent teacher for a Kindergarten classroom. You will create a vibrant, inclusive learning environment where young learners thrive and develop a love for learning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Kindergarten students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student achievement.
• Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.

Required profile

• Ontario Teaching Certificate (OCT) in good standing.
• Primary qualification; Kindergarten AQ considered an asset.
• Current Criminal Background Check with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and Indigenous reconciliation.
