About the role
The Durham District School Board is seeking a Permanent Teacher to provide Junior/Primary coverage on a 0.2 FTE basis. You will create a vibrant, supportive classroom where students thrive and develop a love for learning.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Ontario curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster an inclusive environment where every student feels valued.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to enhance learning outcomes.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs.
Required profile
- Ontario Teaching Certificate (OCT) in good standing.
- Subject qualification for Primary/Junior grades.
- Willingness to work a 0.2 FTE schedule.
- Ability to provide a current Criminal Background Check with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
