About the role

This is a permanent full‑time teaching position for Grade 2/3 within the Ottawa Catholic School Board. The teacher will join a community of over 50,000 students across 91 schools, delivering education grounded in Catholic principles and inclusive values.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily instruction to Grade 2/3 students.
• Implement the OCSB curriculum and assessment practices.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and community partners.
• Participate in professional development and school initiatives.

Required profile

• Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Successful completion of the Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT.
• Ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check if not currently an OCSB employee.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion as outlined by the Board.
