Quran Teacher

About the role

The Quran/Arabic Teacher will instruct students in Quranic studies and Arabic language, fostering both academic and spiritual growth. The role involves creating lesson plans, nurturing a supportive learning environment, and promoting Islamic values. Effective communication with parents and staff is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans that support spiritual and character development.
• Build strong rapport with students and motivate them to acquire key skills and Islamic values.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and encourage family involvement.
• Maintain a safe and supervised classroom environment at all times.
• Support students in developing learning discipline, manners, and respect for others.
• Act with fairness and impartiality in all interactions with students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to train future educators and mentor new teachers.
• Adhere to the organization’s policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Uphold MAC’s code of conduct, dress code, and overall mission and vision.

Required profile

• Relevant education and experience in Quran and/or Arabic instruction.
• Strong knowledge of teaching practices and child development.
• Commitment to upholding Islamic values and ethical conduct.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform duties with professionalism and care.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Willingness to collaborate and mentor new teachers.
