Permanent French Kindergarten Teacher (Full-time)

About the role

The Ottawa Catholic School Board is seeking a permanent, full‑time teacher to lead the French Kindergarten program. This role supports an inclusive, faith‑based learning environment for young learners and contributes to the Board’s commitment to equity and diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the French language curriculum to kindergarten students.
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom that reflects Catholic values.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance student learning.
• Participate in professional development and school initiatives.

Required profile

• Be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Successfully complete Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT.
• If not a current OCSB employee, provide an original Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check dated within the last six months.
• If not on the OT roster, pass the OT interview process and submit a recent Pastoral Letter.
• Commit to the Board’s equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
