People Lead – HR Operations

About the role

The People Lead partners with the Store Manager and leadership team to drive human‑resources initiatives that ensure compliance, boost employee engagement, and support operational excellence in a retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist leadership with recruitment, hiring, staffing, development, succession planning, scheduling, attendance, and performance management.
• Develop, communicate, and implement HR practices and action plans aligned with business needs, using data analysis to monitor progress and identify improvements.
• Model Walmart core values, promote a respectful culture, and address associate concerns through proper channels.
• Lead adoption of technology services and digital solutions, guiding associates on new ways of working.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to deliver business solutions, track results, and adapt to changing demands.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 16 years.
