About the role
The People and Organizational Development (POD) team at UBC Sauder School of Business seeks an Assistant to support employees and student workers throughout their journey. This role coordinates HR activities, manages complex administrative tasks, and contributes to orientation and engagement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of HR services for staff, faculty, and student workers.
- Coordinate HR functions with managers, faculty, and leaders.
- Support orientation programs, engagement events, and related initiatives.
- Perform complex administrative tasks within the POD unit.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with HR reporting.
Required profile
- Experience in HR administrative support or related office functions.
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with managers, faculty, and staff.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in handling confidential information.
