Pediatric Speech‑Language Pathologist – Full‑Time (Term or Permanent)

About the role

Join the Child Development Centre’s professional team in Whitehorse, Yukon, providing early‑intervention services to children from birth to five years. You will work within a transdisciplinary team delivering assessment, consultation and intervention for a wide range of developmental needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, consultations and therapeutic interventions for pediatric clients.
• Collaborate with a team of seven speech‑language pathologists and other professionals.
• Travel to rural communities as required to deliver services.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology and eligibility for membership in the Speech‑Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
• Experience working in cross‑cultural settings and with young children with developmental needs and families.
• Experience with feeding, fluency and Hanen programs is an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
