About the role
The Child Development Centre, a not‑for‑profit organization delivering early intervention services, is seeking an Early Childhood Therapy Assistant for its Mayo program. This term position runs from August 2026 to June 2027, up to 35 hours per week, and supports children in the early kindergarten program at J.V. Clark School and the community.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support to children in the early kindergarten program at J.V. Clark School and in the community.
- Work with children following a specific program developed by the Child Development Centre outreach team, with training provided.
- Collaborate with families, Child Development Centre staff, and school staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain documentation and perform other administrative duties as requested.
Required profile
- Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- Related education and experience working with young children preferred.
- Training will be provided.
