About the role
Oxford Learning Cambridge Hespeler is seeking enthusiastic part‑time tutors to support elementary and middle‑school students in English, French and Mathematics. You will work in‑person with up to three learners during after‑school and evening hours, following a pre‑planned curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one‑on‑one or small‑group tutoring sessions for Kindergarten to Grade 9 students.
- Follow Oxford Learning’s proprietary teaching methodologies and lesson plans.
- Complete post‑lesson notes, monthly progress reports, and daily communication updates.
- Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and foster a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (or third‑year university student).
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario K‑9 curriculum for English, French and Math.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to manage up to three students simultaneously and produce professional progress reports.
