Part‑Time eCommerce Clerk (Retail)

About the role

Metro is looking for a motivated part‑time eCommerce Clerk to join its online order fulfilment team in Toronto. You will act as a brand ambassador, picking and bagging customer orders with the same care you would give a shopper in the store.

Key responsibilities

• Select and bag eCommerce grocery orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain product quality and presentation standards throughout the picking process.
• Ensure each order is assembled as if the customer were shopping in‑store.
• Handle repetitive heavy lifting and work in a multi‑temperature environment.
• Adapt to flexible shift patterns, including days, evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Previous experience in grocery or retail environments.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly and work in varying temperatures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for order processing.
