Part-time Organ Lecturer (Music Department)

About the role
The Music Department at Mount Allison University seeks a part‑time lecturer to provide organ studio instruction for a dedicated student across the 2026‑2027 academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver weekly studio instruction (approximately one hour) and a studio class for the student.
- Oversee the student’s performance preparation and repertoire development.
- Assess the student’s performance juries and provide constructive feedback.
- Teach the courses MUSC 1501‑4591 during both Fall and Winter semesters (September 2026 to April 2027).
- Maintain accurate records of instruction and assessment.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in organ performance.
- Established record as an organ performer.
- University‑level studio teaching experience.
- Ability to mentor a single student intensively.
- Availability for the full term from September 2026 to April 2027.
