Part-Time Back of House Coordinator

About the role

JD Sports Canada is seeking a Part‑Time Back of House Coordinator for its CF Markville store in Markham, Ontario. The role supports the retail floor by managing stockroom operations, handling e‑commerce order fulfillment and ensuring inventory accuracy. This position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving sports‑fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Front of House associates with in‑store customer requests.
• Lead day‑to‑day stockroom operations, ensuring accurate labeling, logical placement, neat arrangement and cleanliness.
• Receive, handle and manage merchandise inventory promptly and organized.
• Process daily e‑commerce sales: pick, pack and ship orders directly to customers.
• Communicate daily with customer service and store teams via Slack and email.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies to reduce shrinkage and optimise sales.
• Use the company’s inventory system for daily stock tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years retail or stockroom experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and task‑driven work style.
• Proactive and organized approach to daily responsibilities.

Required skills

• Experience with the Shopify platform.
• Proficiency in inventory management software.
• Familiarity with Slack for internal communication.
