Paralegal – Corporate Contracts

About the role
Messagepoint is looking for a detail‑oriented Paralegal to support its corporate contracts function within a fast‑paced SaaS environment. The role works closely with Sales, Operations and external counsel, acting as a key member of the Sales Deal Desk.
Key responsibilities
- Review and analyse technology sales contracts, including MSAs, SaaS licensing, customer sales, reseller/partner and professional services agreements.
- Provide clear, business‑focused feedback on contract terms and suggest alternative language.
- Support the Sales Deal Desk in deal structuring and contract execution.
- Identify, assess and escalate legal and commercial risks.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel for specialized review and escalations.
- Maintain contract templates, documentation and version control.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of contracting processes, playbooks and standards.
- Review agreements for data‑privacy considerations, including handling of PII and PHI.
Required profile
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience in corporate/commercial law.
- Strong experience reviewing and supporting negotiation of sales contracts in a SaaS or technology company.
- Solid understanding of commercial contract terms and risk considerations (non‑lawyer role).
- Experience working in or alongside a Sales Deal Desk or Sales Operations function.
