Packer Operator – Production Packaging

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Packer Operator to join our Surrey production team. You will operate packaging equipment on the can, keg and variety‑pack lines while supporting sanitation, quality and overall production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the production schedule to meet order deadlines using the correct materials.
• Operate and monitor equipment on the can, keg and variety‑pack lines.
• Perform changeovers, minor adjustments, start‑up and shut‑down of packaging machines.
• Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure product specifications are met.
• Execute clean‑in‑place (CIP) cycles, equipment cleaning and area sanitation as required.
• Assist in troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis to resolve equipment issues.
• Support general cleanup and sanitation duties and collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn new processes and develop within the beverage industry.
• Strong time‑management and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work all shifts, including overtime.
• Physical ability to lift, stack and stand for extended periods.
