Outside Sales Representative – Professional (Quebec City)

About the role
Join RONA’s dynamic sales team as an Outside Sales Representative focused on professional (PRO) customers in the Quebec City territory. You will prospect new clients, nurture existing relationships, and drive revenue growth for our hardware and lumber brands.
Key responsibilities
- Actively prospect and qualify new potential customers within the assigned territory.
- Visit job sites regularly to maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to overall team goals.
- Promote RONA’s value proposition to increase share of wallet and maintain a high close rate.
- Create orders, coordinate deliveries, and work with the expediting and delivery teams.
- Review material requirements, qualify blueprints, and provide accurate price and delivery quotations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to track prospects, quotes, estimates, and orders throughout the sales cycle.
Required profile
- Proven experience in prospecting, telemarketing, and B2B sales.
- In‑depth knowledge of multifamily construction and property‑management processes (mandatory).
- Strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel regularly within the territory.
- Comfortable working in construction site conditions and managing associated risks.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computer tools and sales‑management software.
- Valid driver’s license.
