Outside Sales Consultant – Design – $150K+ First Year Potential

About the role

Renewal by Andersen, a leading window and door replacement brand, is expanding across British Columbia and seeks a motivated Outside Sales Consultant to serve homeowners in Castlegar and the surrounding Kootenay region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled in‑home consultations with homeowners throughout Castlegar and nearby communities.
• Assess each homeowner’s needs and recommend customized window and patio‑door solutions.
• Present product options, pricing, financing, and warranty details.
• Guide prospects through a consultative, relationship‑focused sales process and close sales.
• Maintain customer information and follow‑up activity in Salesforce.
• Generate referrals and develop self‑generated business while partnering with installation and operations teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven success in commission‑based, outside or in‑home sales (e.g., automotive, real estate, or similar).
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Confidence presenting and closing face‑to‑face.
• Self‑motivated, competitive mindset with high personal accountability.
• Willingness to learn, be coached, and continuously improve.
• Availability to meet homeowners evenings and weekends, with a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation for travel across the Kootenay region.
