Organic Chemist (Synthetic)

About the role

TC Scientific Inc. is seeking an Organic Chemist to join its pharmaceutical product development team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will work in an urban laboratory environment, focusing on the synthesis, analysis and characterization of chemical compounds.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, synthesize, purify, modify and characterize organic and biochemical compounds.
• Conduct research on synthesis pathways, compound properties and reaction mechanisms.
• Apply chromatography techniques for compound separation and purity assessment.
• Support product development initiatives within the pharmaceutical sector.

Required profile

• Doctorate degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good judgment and organizational abilities.
