Order Entry Clerk – Data Entry & Administration

About the role

We are looking for an Order Entry Clerk to join American Iron & Metal’s administrative team. In this role you will ensure that sales and purchase contracts are entered accurately and processed promptly, supporting our metal recycling operations across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Enter sales and purchase contracts into the system with accuracy and efficiency.
• Verify entered orders for consistency and correct any data entry errors.
• Coordinate daily administrative and clerical tasks for the department.
• Process and price shipping tickets for Montreal and Laval locations.
• Update market prices for incoming orders.
• Maintain organized, up‑to‑date records of all processed orders.

Required profile

• A.E.C. or D.E.C. in office automation, administration, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in administrative support or data entry.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
• Autonomous, proactive, and quick learner.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office, intermediate proficiency in Excel.
