Operator Assistant – Entry Level Oilfield Role

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Operator Assistant to join our oilfield team. You will support our combo‑vac and semi‑vac operators in daily field operations, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist operators with loading and unloading liquid products on oilfield equipment.
• Operate steam wands, wash tanks and other related equipment.
• Maintain tools and equipment to required standards.
• Participate in job observations, near‑miss and hazard identification reporting, and safety meetings.
• Identify and help mitigate safety hazards on site.

Required profile

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Current Standard First Aid & CPR, H2S Alive and Confined Space Entry certifications.
• Ability to work flexible hours and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Positive work ethic and attitude.
