New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) / Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

About the role

Providence Health Care is seeking soon‑to‑graduate nursing students and recent graduates to join its multidisciplinary teams as staff nurses. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care across a variety of clinical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Incorporate teaching into care plans to educate patients and families.
• Make referrals to appropriate resources as needed.
• Support fellow healthcare professionals and operate within PHC’s mission, vision, and values.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or soon‑to‑graduate RN or RPN.
• Willingness to work in multiple departments (e.g., Medical‑Surgical, Palliative, Long‑Term Care, Critical Care, etc.).
• Ability to meet testing and criminal record check requirements.
• Commitment to the core values of dignity, compassion, justice, and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.
