Neuroimmunology Research Program Manager

About the role

The Neuroimmunology Research Program Manager will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the UBC Chair in Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune Neurology. Based in the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health, the role guides a multi‑project research portfolio aligned with the MS Research Network’s priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the program’s strategic plan, translating the Chair’s vision into actionable priorities.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of multiple research projects, ensuring alignment with network objectives.
• Manage risk, performance metrics, and budgetary oversight for the portfolio.
• Collaborate with clinician‑scientists, researchers, and staff across UBC, PHSA, Vancouver Coastal Health, and VCHRI.
• Report directly to the Chair, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing complex research programs, preferably in neuro‑immunology or related biomedical fields.
• Strong understanding of multiple sclerosis, autoimmune neurology, and brain‑health research.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work within a university and health‑system environment.
