About the role
VTECH DIESEL is seeking a permanent full-time Motor Vehicle Mechanics Supervisor to lead its workshop in Rockwood, ON. The role involves resolving technical problems, providing advice, and driving improvements in productivity and product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise mechanics and manage projects.
- Coordinate and schedule activities across work units.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff, or arrange training as needed.
- Estimate costs and materials, and requisition or order equipment and supplies.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication, client focus, flexibility, good judgement, organization, and teamwork.
