Mining Engineer – Mid-Range Team

About the role

The Mining Engineer will report to the Senior Engineering Supervisor and join the Mid-Range team at Fording River Operations. The role supports the Engineering and Projects departments by planning, stewarding, and integrating technical projects into the active mine operation.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• Design, plan, and provide execution support for mine pre‑development using Swift 4, while engaging key stakeholders.
• Coordinate major mine infrastructure projects such as powerlines and clean‑water diversions.
• Support combustion waste management and other critical scopes within the mine.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Swift 4 mine planning software.
