Merchandiser (Contract) – Kelowna

About the role

We are seeking an independent contractor Merchandiser to work at a retail location in Kelowna, 6 hours per week on weekdays, at a starting rate of $20 per hour. The role involves creating attractive product displays and supporting a top‑tier CPG client.

Key responsibilities

• Make packaged product displays attractive and appealing to customers.
• Bring products from storage and fill displays according to a planogram.
• Update seasonal displays and pricing.
• Place product orders and execute account‑specific initiatives such as bookings, end caps, and marketing programs.
• Identify opportunities to add value during store visits while collaborating with department personnel.
• Provide regular merchandising support: maintain shelves, adjust planograms, correct out‑of‑stock items, ensure freshness.
• Prepare and submit daily required reporting.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Professional demeanor with the public and store personnel.
• Detail‑oriented, extremely organized, and able to lift up to 45 lb.
• Flexibility to adapt to an ever‑changing market environment.
• Ability to stand for several hours continuously.
