About the role
We are looking for a Mechanics Foreman (male or female) to lead a small team at Diesel Pro Truck Service Ltd in Surrey, BC. The role involves supervising workers, coordinating production activities, and ensuring timely completion of projects. The position reports directly to management and contributes to the efficient operation of the truck service workshop.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Supervise workers and projects.
- Coordinate and schedule activities.
- Recruit, hire, and train workers.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate activities with other units.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience supervising 3‑4 people.
- Available for shift and day work.
- Participation in youth employment programs, offering on‑the‑job training and mentorship.
- Work on shift schedules and day shifts as required.
