About the role
The Mechanical Engineering Technician will support the maintenance and inspection of mechanical systems across various sites, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with design specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Repair and maintain machinery.
- Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.
- Prepare design drawings and specifications.
- Conduct mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials.
- Prepare standards, schedules and test equipment.
Required profile
- College/CEGEP education in a related field.
- 2‑3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or engineering.
- Basic security clearance and a valid driver’s licence with own vehicle.
- Ability to work in confined, noisy, dusty environments and handle physically demanding tasks.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and Word.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and environmental engineering principles.
