Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team focused on high‑value infrastructure solutions. You will own the full product lifecycle, from concept creation to on‑site validation, turning complex ideas into reliable industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models of next‑generation industrial machinery using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and iterative testing to validate structural integrity and efficiency.
• Oversee fabrication, coordinate with manufacturing, and conduct on‑site design verification.
• Collaborate with electrical controls engineers and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using first‑principles engineering and field data analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in heavy machinery, mining, or construction equipment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (CSA, UL, CE) and ISO quality standards.
