About the role
Join Safeway’s deli team in Grande Prairie as a Meat Deli Clerk. You will work part‑time delivering excellent customer service, handling meat products safely, and supporting store sales.
Key responsibilities
- Adhere to all food safety, health and safety protocols and corporate policies.
- Provide friendly, accurate service to customers and process deli orders.
- Prepare, slice, and display meat products while maintaining a clean, presentable work area.
- Promote deli items to increase sales and execute merchandising plans.
- Order, receive, and manage stock in line with inventory control procedures.
- Process department shrink and assist with training junior staff.
